‘World Environment Day’ (WED) is celebrated every year on 5th June. This day is celebrated to raise global awareness of the need to take positive environmental action. It is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). 


World Environment Day (WED) was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972. It is a day when people focus on the environment and it is celebrated in over 100 countries. This day is observed to stimulate awareness of the environment and enhance political attention and public action. World Environment Day is created to promote environmental issues to become active agents of sustainable and equitable development. 


An initiative taken to bring a positive change in the condition of earth, the nature and its problem, this is to create a better living condition all over the world by keeping car ature. And in the 21st century, poor natural condition is a very crucial issue to talk about .and just not one or two countries, institution or person is responsible and liable for it, but al ofl the world is responsible for  the depicting condition of the nature in the world.

 By celebration of an environment day we all try to awake each other to start a revolution to improve, protect and maintain our environment. Youth is the coming future, this campaign is to awake them and bring them close to the nature, they are expected to bring change in the present condition by controlling pollution, global warming,  etc.
